Great Grape Slush

This is a healthy improvement over the brightly colored slushies with fake flavors and colorings from the fast-food and convenience stores. You can add ice cubes for older children, which will increase the yield.

SCD Legal

3/4 cup (112.5 g) frozen organic seedless purple grapes

1 organic apple (150 g), peeled, cored, and chopped

1/2 cup (120 ml) organic unfiltered apple juice

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until slushy.

NOTE: Spread individual grapes on a pan and freeze. Then transfer to a freezer bag or container to have available for kids to eat alone as a frosty snack, or to make this tasty slush.

YIELD: 11/2 cups (355 ml)
